The Best Hot Chocolate Ever

What you'll need:
- 2 cups whole milk
- 5 ounces bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped (get the best quality you can find and afford for this step, it makes all the difference)
Time to create:
In a medium saucepan heat the milk to warm. (make sure to not scald the milk)
Once the milk is warm, begin to whisk in the chopped chocolate. Keep stirring until chocolate is melted. Make sure you stay at a low boil, this should take around three minutes.
Now you should have a thick, dark pool of hot chocolate. Serve up and enjoy! We love to pile whip cream and even drizzle a little extra chocolate on top. You can even garnish with a touch of sea salt to add a little extra depth.
