Cranberry & Rosemary White Sangria

Sangria is such a great party drink. Easy to assemble and beautiful to look at. We love making this cranberry and rosemary white sangria during the holidays and thought you would too.

What you'll need:

  • 1 Granny Smith apple
  • 1 Brae-burn apple
  • 1 Cup Fresh cranberries
  • 1 large Sprig rosemary
  • 1 Bottle Pinot grigio
  • ½ cup white grape juice
  • ¼ cup sugar (more, for garnish)
  • 1 Can club soda
  • 1/2 up Cranberry Juice

Let's Make Sangria

In a small saucepan, combine cranberry juice, sugar and 1 cup of wine and bring to a boil. Then add in fresh cranberries and cook for about a minute. (just enough to warm them, the will pop when ready)

Then strain cranberries, reserving the wine simple syrup. Add your rosemary to the wine simple syrup and set aside to allow rosemary to steep.

(This simple syrup will cool for about an hour)

While that's steeping cube your apples.

Then in apitcher, combine remaining wine, blanched cranberries, and chopped apples.

Chill pitcher in the refrigerator for at least an hour. Then add your cooledwine simple syrup.

Then you're ready to serve! We love adding a garnish of rosemary spring and some fresh cranberries to the final cocktail for an extra festive touch.
